I got this shot by putting the lens cap a little bit over the front of the lens, distorting the bokeh.

I had been thinking about making this image for a while before getting around to doing it.
Time is something I’ve felt is abstract and concrete at the same time. Its relative and absolute. Its two worlds colliding. We give it solidity with clocks and watches and are lorded over by it with aging. At the same time, it’s invisible. It is passive. It constant.
Its weird how at the end of one day I can look back and say, “Wow. Where did the day go?”
and another sit it silence and feel the day drag into infinity.

Oh time, you will make fools of us all.
